A Sliding Door Upgrade for Pets & Their People

Recently we visited a lovely family in Buderim who were having trouble with their sliding screen door. Their much-loved dog had scratched right through the mesh, and the screen had started dragging along the track. Like many pet owners, they didn’t want to replace the whole door—they just needed something tougher that could stand up to daily use.

That’s where our pet mesh and custom-installed pet door came in.

We replaced the existing mesh with durable pet mesh—stronger than standard flyscreen, perfect for active pets. We also installed a medium-sized pet door into their sliding screen, so their dog could move in and out freely without scratching or pushing against the door.

While we were there, we also adjusted the rollers so the door could slide smoothly again. The job took under an hour, but made a huge difference.
